Hello, and welcome to post number one… I wanted to make a place to share our lives with family and friends we don’t see often (and for those we do.)
A little bit about me.. I’m 24, with a wonderful husband (Mark), and an adorable 10 month old daughter (Becca.) We live in a decent sized apartment in the middle of a college town. Smart people that we are, we even live smack-dab in the center of the excitement, as we are surrounded by fraternities and sororities. We are also on the road leading to downtown (bars), so no one sleeps thursday through saturday nights. Especially in the warm weather.
I am a stay-at-home mom, which I love. Most days.. Mark works nights at a lumbermill. It took a lot to get used to that schedule. But he enjoys it there, and it’s decent pay. We’ve been married one year, and 8-ish months. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He’s an amazing man, and a great father. I love him more every day. Becca (Rebecca) is a big bundle of energy. She would tear around the house all day if I didn’t make her pause, however briefly, for naps and meals. She is funny (and she knows it!) and incredibly smart. She is already talking. She says bye-bye (her favorite), mama, dada, ball, and sometimes teddy. She’ll mimic back almost anything we say, though. So cute! She pulls up on everything. And she stands alone, at least until she realizes she’s doing it. Then, back down she goes…
Assuming I get my actual computer back soon, I’ll be updating with pics and more. In the mean time, this site is officially declared a construction zone…
